Jack Ellis is an experienced Canadian artist who paints in watercolor, Acrylic, and a combination of both. While he paints a variety of subjects, his specialty has been painting scenes from Alberta's Oil and Gas industry. Working from photos, drawings, and at times his memory, Jack has created many paintings of the industry.

The other work Jack enjoys painting are wide and varied. In fact any subjects that catch his eye are going to end up on his drawing board as the next new piece. Jack's works have been well received by both corporate clients and retail customers and his works are on display in many galleries throughout Western Canada. Many of his originals and reproductions hang in many corporate offices and homes in Canada, the USA and around the world. As well his images have appeared in many publications and annual reports of a variety corporations.

Jack's passion is to paint. He started out with watercolors then began to dabble in acrylics. Today he is comfortable with both media's as well a combination of both. Throughout Jack's career he has enjoyed challenging himself with new and more detailed subjects. The result has been a steady progression of realism in his work.

This has also resulted in Jack being commissioned by corporations and private individuals to complete painting of subjects of their choice. This has developed into a very special part of his career that Jack is very proud of and his clients are very pleased with what he has done.
